Spring animation "Digimon Adventure:" cast announcement!

Cast information has been announced from the spring anime "Digimon Adventure:".

Digimon Adventure, the first TV anime in the Digimon series broadcast in 1999, is reborn as a completely new animation, Digimon Adventure, and will be broadcast on TV from April 2020.


The stage is 2020. In this story, the main character, Taichi Yagami, a fifth-grade elementary school student, is sent to the digital world where Digimon live and meets his partner, Digimon, to expand his adventure.


The original draft is Akiyoshi Hongo, the series composition is Atsuhiro Tomioka, the character design is Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, and the general drawing director is Akihiro Asanuma. Animation production is handled by Toei Animation.


Cast announcement. Yufuko Sanbe plays Taichi Yagami and Chinatsu Sakamoto plays Agumon.

2020 AD. Networks have become essential to human life. But humans do not know. The infinite world and digital world on the other side of the network and the Digimon that live there.

Taichi Yagami, a fifth-grade elementary school student living in a tower apartment near Tokyo, was left alone to prepare for a summer camp on the weekend, but on a train where his mother and sister Hikari who went to Shibuya could not stop. Know that you are riding.
Taichi rushes to Shibuya to help her mother and sister, but the moment she heads to the station platform-a mysterious phenomenon occurs in "chosen children" including Taichi, and Taichi enters the digital world!
